Piezoelectric Bed Leveling Sensor for Bambu Lab X1 / P1 3D Printers

Overview

The piezoelectric bed leveling sensor is a key component of the automatic bed leveling system in Bambu Lab X1 and P1 series 3D printers. It consists of a piezoelectric ceramic disc mounted in a custom bracket that detects surface pressure during the first layer of printing.

In standard configuration, three such sensors are installed under the heated bed to accurately detect its position and compensate for surface irregularities.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation is done by replacing the heated bed sensor block. Detailed instructions are available on the Bambu Lab Wiki.
