Unlike silica gel*, the filament desiccant for AMS does not break down and has a virtually infinite service life. When the desiccant becomes saturated with moisture, you will see an increase in humidity in the middle of the AMS chamber. By baking the desiccant in an oven at 250°C for two hours, you can “recharge” it again and again.nn*- silica gel is classified as acutely toxic by swallowing or inhalation (GHS Acute Tox. 5 H333).nnPlease note!nnContainers are not included in the price. They need to be printed separately.nnA model for self-printing containers adapted for AMS Bambu Lab is available for download here.nnFor 1 AMS Bambu Lab, you only need approx. 450 g of desiccant:nn- large container - max. capacity 104g (3 of these containers can be placed on the front side = 312g)nn- narrow container - max. capacity 27g (2 such containers can be placed on the sides of the front side = 54g)nn- Low container - max. capacity 44g (2 of these containers can be placed behind the coils instead of the silica gel packs = 88g)
